Through the looking glass. Saturday, November 20, 2010. Another take on Oatmeal. Okay, so it is getting cold and oatmeal is my go to breakfast right now. The add-ins are endless and so I have to share my latest and greatest:. Quinoa and Oatmeal with Toasted Seeds and Dates. 1 Toast up some pumpkin and sunflower seeds (and a few raisins LOL) in a skillet. This makes them aromatic and deliciously nutty. Do Not Burn! 2 Chop up a few dates (I used 5) for some natural sweetness. This is soooo good" feeling!

Through the looking glass: March 2012
http://nosrednaikiv.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Through the looking glass. Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Week 10: It's the Light. I had taken a shot last week of a different perspective of the school for kicks. I liked it and I like the lighting. I decided to zoom out further for yesterday's shot to get more of the old part of the building and the new at the same time. The wind was blowing and I got a nice shot. So I anxiously waited for the end of the day again to retake the shot and I was much happier. Saturday, March 3, 2012. Week 9: Can't Stop Now.

Through the looking glass. Friday, July 22, 2011. 109876.5.4.3.2.1.I just looked at the calendar and realized that in 10 days, I have to go back to work! Home again. Grilling out is almost a daily event. Meeting up with friends is always great. We have been chillin' at home a lot, but forced relaxation is not necessarily a bad thing at all. So am I ready to go back to the office? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Through the Looking Glass. Reflections of my madcap life. From Lewis Carroll's masterpiece.

I am thrilled with 40° to 50° and even 60° in the afternoon IN JANUARY! We may drop to 20° at night, but I am not complaining. In fact I think I can count on one hand the number of times I have even had to scrape my windows. Did I mention this is in OMAHA, in JANUARY! Friday, January 20, 2012. Week 3.2 The Make-up Post. I have been working on my 366 Photography Challenge.

Through the looking glass: I have a new Etsy Shop for my Jewelry
http://nosrednaikiv.blogspot.com/2013/04/i-have-new-etsy-shop-for-my-jewelry.html
Through the looking glass. Sunday, April 7, 2013. I have a new Etsy Shop for my Jewelry. It had to happen sooner or later. With all the jewelry I am making, I have to find a way to sell my wares. I cannot possible wear it all, although sometimes it seems like I am attempting to do just that. Places like Etsy are like a huge online consignment shop or online Arts and Crafts Fair that never ends. Click on this badge to go visit my new shop:. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Through the looking glass: July 2010

Through the looking glass. Monday, July 26, 2010. Roasting veggies brings out a sweetness and flavor that cannot be matched with stir-fry or steam-fry. I roasted zucchini, onion, tomato, garlic and sweet red and orange bell peppers tonight for about an hour at 325° on a cookie sheet. I had lightly brushed them with olive oil and seasoned them with salt and pepper. Saturday, July 24, 2010. So of course that was the first thing I thought of for breakfast this morning. Tomato scramble with tofu and swee...

Through the looking glass. Sunday, June 27, 2010. Hot Summer.Cool Salad. Needless to say, cooking over a hot stove just does not really cut it right now. I was looking for some cool ideas and cucumbers always make me cool. I had to think what would go well with this. My friend Gabi is from Bethlehem originally and is always telling me how good the middle eastern foods are. Cucumbers and mint, lemon juice and olive oil. Simple but delish! I gotta say.this was sooooo good! Sunday, June 13, 2010. You don't ...

Through the looking glass. Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Wow it has been a long long time since my last post. I took another path and started some new interests., Paper Beads were fascinating and truly enjoy making these beads but that led to me searching for interesting spacer beads at Goodwills and 2nd hand shops, which led to all out bead crafting and now custom jewelry. Having a lot of fun and thought I would share a few pieces. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Through the Looking Glass.
