Volunteer Workers at Tauhara. We encourage volunteers to come for a minimum of two weeks, which is open for extension if mutually agreed upon. No experience necessary - open hearts and willing hands are especially welcome! Please call if you feel drawn to experience this beautiful Centre! Please note - depending on the number of exchange volunteers previously booked sometimes we will need to look at different dates to suit both the Centre and the person volunteering.

Tauhara offers very reasonable rates for accommodation. Our rates per night for private retreatants are as follows:. When possible we allocate single accommodation, when busy - shared. Taupo Attractions

As well as the main pools (complete with waterfall and bubbling hydrotherapy spots) we also offer 12 private mineral pools the perfect complement to our Living Waters day spa. At the Huka Falls, the Waikato River which is normally 100m wide, is squeezed through a 20 metre wide gorge and over a 20m drop. Every second up to 220,000 litres of water gushes through the gorge and shoots out over 8 metres beyond to create a beautful blue/green pool. Experience 360 degree spins and speeds of over 80km/hour!
