Peace Corps Update: taurendur

Here's the latest news, most of it very annoying. We would leave mid-June for French-speaking Africa. Nicole would teach English. I would teach Environmental Science. And that was all we knew for over a year. If you ever apply to the Peace Corps, withhold as much medical information as you can. As your honesty increases, the bureaucratic bullshit exponentially increases. We can't go in June because all of the spaces are full (Who knew there were spaces? We should know more in a week (read 2 weeks).

Celebrate good times, COME ON! For all you Star Wars fans out there:. Star Wars: Celebration IV the 30th Anniversary will be held at the LA Convention Center, Memorial Day weekend. This is a huge convention with movie stars attending and lots of other good stuff. Tickets are $45 if bought at the door. I will most likely be going Saturday, May 26th (possibly Sunday). Friday evening, Rented car and. Arrived at Hotel Daniel. Saturday morning, Andrew and I head out for Santa Monica. Get to his place around 3. Putz around waiting for evening to come. It was me, Andrew, and three of his high school buddies: Matt, Maurice, and Bryant. We had a blast. Went out to a nice restaurant called the Tam O'Shanter Inn.
