Dawn Alexander: Introducing Teri Ann Stanley!
http://chasingsomeday.blogspot.com/2011/10/introducing-teri-ann-stanley.html
Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Introducing Teri Ann Stanley! Tell Me Your Story Tuesday. Today I am super excited to be featuring my awesome critique partner. Since Teri and I are already pretty tight. I went with a slightly different style of interview. Hope you enjoy it! Let's Get to Know Teri! If your writing ego is a super hero, what does your mild-mannered alter ego do during the down time? I hang around Stately Stanley Manor with my butler Alfredo and think great thoughts. Best kind of Hero? And sheR...

Author Toni De Palma: Book Review: Frisky Business by Tawna Fenske
http://www.tonidepalma.com/2014/04/book-review-frisky-business-by-tawna.html
Monday, April 28, 2014. Book Review: Frisky Business by Tawna Fenske. I have to admit, what got me interested in this book was the cover, particularly the adorable pup peering over the bench. While it was clear this was a romance - and here I must say, I don't particularly gravitate to the romance genre - this book promised to have something more I could sink my canines into (pun intended). Here's a brief blurb from the back of the book:. A little bit about Tawna:. And Believe it or Not. Which noted, "Fe...

Cynthia Reese: Beyond perfection
http://cynthiareese.blogspot.com/2010/11/beyond-perfection.html
Thursday, November 18, 2010. I swear, we don't push her. We don't nag. We don't even fuss. We don't have to. She beats herself up far more severely than we ever could. But her perfection complex is not completely value-less for me. It provides me with a continual life lesson for me and my life and my writing. When I was in middle school, I never worried about grades. I got what I got, which except for math were usually pretty good, at least a solid B. It was college that saved me - a psychology lecture o...

Cynthia Reese: April 2010

Friday, April 30, 2010. How I bang my head against my fist and a book comes out. When my CP Tawna Fenske. Asked if I wanted to blog about my writing “process,” I first thought,. Want to know how I bang my head against my fist? Then it occurred to me that what she. Meant is my map for how to go from the blank page with that taunting cursor to The End. How I do it is probably not like anybody else does it. Tawna’s way is different. Nelsa Roberto. To learn what works for them. Hmmm, what if …? An hour max a...

Cynthia Reese: August 2010
http://cynthiareese.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Clean-sweeping the old WIP. The point is, of course, that everybody's junk looks the absolute worst when a person is elbow-deep in it. It looks hopeless. You've got all of it pulled out, bright and unforgiving daylight shining down on it, instead of having it tucked away in the shadows. You can't ignore it. You can't pretend it isn't there. So I've got little scraps of dialogue in the midst of a lot of blank lines, and I am trying to build the chapter around those scraps. It wil...

Suzanne Perazzini: March 2010
http://suzanneperazzini.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 27, 2010. I saw this a few weeks ago and it still sticks with me but mainly because I was annoyed at the ending. I know others loved the ending and it certainly was a nuanced ending and you had to listen to every word to understand exactly what happened, but I didn't want that ending and that's that. Leonardo di Caprio was amazing as always in this dark and compelling story. It was definitely worth watching but pay attention to get the most out of the story. Movie reviews - Shutter Island.

Don't pet me, I'm writing: Cover reveal and a huge sale!
http://tawnafenske.blogspot.com/2015/03/cover-reveal-and-huge-sale.html
Saturday, March 14, 2015. Cover reveal and a huge sale! So this turned out to be a rather exciting week for me. No, I didn't figure out how to hook the car battery up to those nipple clamps. First off, I got official permission to share the cover for my September 2015 romantic comedy About That Fling. I have to admit, I was a little unsure how they'd manage to capture the vibe of this contemporary romance that has some darker, deeper edges than my usual rom-com fare. I'm super in love with it! So that's ...
