Thursday, June 30, 2011. Nakalele Blowhole on North Maui. We had no idea that wherever we would go would be a dangerous adventure. If the roads were not scary enough, hiking down the side of a cliff, to get to the shore's edge, would do it. We had read about a blowhole on the north side of Maui, so we decided to make the 30 minute drive to check it out. It seems like we are on top of the world. We came across this "heart" shape that was cut out of the rock. The Pacific Ocean as far as one's eyes can see.

Sunday, February 20, 2011. Emily played YBA basketball this winter. She learned a lot about the game and had a great time. Playing with her friend, Haley. Her coaches were Jordan. And McKenzie, which play on the high school basketball team. Their team had a great season, finishing. 1st place in the final tournament. Emily and Savannah taking a break. Saturday, January 21, 2012. Emily's Basketball season was a lot of fun. Every Saturday, for 6 weeks, Emily played at least one game against other local teams. Her coaches were high school basketball players, MacKenzie Dicks and Hannah Hamilton. They taught the girls about the game and sportsmanship. At the end of the season, there is a championship round for the teams. After hard work and 3 games, the Emily and her teammates ended up with the first place spot. Way to go girls!
