The Owen's: New Start
http://davidandshina.blogspot.com/2013/03/new-start.html
Monday, March 11, 2013. Both babes are asleep so I thought I would take a minute or two to write a little update since we will be taking a six month Internet sabbatical starting Friday on our desktop. Focus is my little family. It has also helped to have SO MANY amazing friends, ward and family members who have made us dinner, helped watch Peyton, helped us pack up our house (more on that below) and given lots of support and love. Exactly one week after Kai was born. What I am most sad about is l...

The Owen's
http://davidandshina.blogspot.com/2012/09/i-have-not-updated-blog-in-quite-some.html
Thursday, September 13, 2012. I have not updated the blog in quite some time. I promise, we are alive and well. The last three months have been a bit of a blur. We have had so many fun and exciting things going on. I hope I can remember everything. We found out we are expecting baby number two (little noodle). Yes, this was planned and yes, we are very excited. It has been interesting for me because I have compared this pregnancy with my pregnancy with Peyton. This one is definitely harder! We left on a ...

The Owen's: 2013 and Goal Setting
http://davidandshina.blogspot.com/2013/02/2013-and-goal-setting.html
Tuesday, February 5, 2013. 2013 and Goal Setting. One of the biggest, hardest, most life changing goals that we have set it to get completely out of debt. We have not always been very disciplined with where. We spend our money and we have had quite a few. Months because of dumb spending spree's, but through trial and error we have found what works for us- FINALLY. We don't carry credit card debt (or credit cards at all- cut those darn things up peeps! But we do have two loans that we are paying towards.

http://davidandshina.blogspot.com/2012/12/christmas-time-is-here.html
Wednesday, December 5, 2012. Christmas Time is Here. I absolutely love this time of year. I am sad we still have not received any snow (that has stuck to the ground), but hopefully we will as Christmas gets closer. Dave and I have been married for 3.5 years and now that Sweet P is finally old enough to enjoy the holidays and get excited we have really changed how we are doing things from Thanksgiving to the New Year. Let's start with Thanksgiving. Here is how we have celebrated the last four days:. Makin...

The Owen's: A little bit of Summer
http://davidandshina.blogspot.com/2012/06/little-bit-of-summer.html
Thursday, June 28, 2012. A little bit of Summer. I realized that I have not done a family update in a while so, here it goes. Dave attended high adventure with two other presidency members and three of the priests. That is right, one leader for one priest. I think Dave had more fun with them than he does with me! Dave is looking forward to going here next month. Lucky. Peyton still only has 5 little teeth. I hope more come in soon because she has a difficult time eating meat. Playing the Ukele with Aunti...

The Owen's: A Moment of Gratitude
http://davidandshina.blogspot.com/2012/11/a-moment-of-gratitude.html
Sunday, November 4, 2012. A Moment of Gratitude. My heart is very full today. I am so grateful for the blessing we have in Utah to be so close to so many. Temples. What a blessing the temple has been in our little families lives. I find myself getting caught up in the 'not so important' tasks of the day and leaving my sweet baby girl to find things to do on her own. I am grateful for the gentle reminders that I receive to focus a little more on the most important little person in my life.
