I thought I would give a little recap of Blakely's birthday party, especially for those of you who couldn't make it. We had a great time watching Blakely. Ever so gently pick at her extra-large cupcake! She was so funny with it! Kids either dive in with no hesitation, or they stare at it like "what do I do with this? Blakely was the later, for sure. I think she enjoyed it once she felt the initial sugar rush kick in! Andrew was giving me some BIG grins, and I loved it! You gotta be, you're a natural!

I just don't like coming across so negative when I have so much to be thankful for. I will give you an update though- turns out that I had Phlebitis {inflammation of the vein} in the vein that the IV was in. Painful, but not torture. I'm on and antibiotics, just to be safe, and there. A clot there that should dissolve in a day or two. My back is healing just fine. So that's that. She has crazy hair in this picture.
