Hatch Adventures: October 2013
http://adventuresofaustandja.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Halloween traditions. usually we do the normal pumpkin carving at halloween time, but because georgia is so humid, you can't really carve pumpkins because they will deflate into grandma pumpkins within 24 hours. so this year we painted our pumpkins instead. The next military training completed on austin's bucket list: the army reconnaissance course (ARC). pretty much a bunch of sneaking around and spying in the woods, he totally loved it! One saturday we visited FDR state park. And hiked the wolf's den.

Hatch Adventures: olympic biking.
http://adventuresofaustandja.blogspot.com/2014/02/olympic-biking.html
While in search for things unique to atlanta, we came across the 1996 olympic mountain biking course. In doing some research we found that this was the first olympic mountain biking course. Pretty monumental and awesome, so we had to check it out. Hands down, this trail was the most fun. We have ever ridden. through a series of quick, downhill switchbacks. It was easy to gain speed and zip through the track and fun little obstacles along the way. i also must mention there was hardly any uphill.

Donnie and Laura: June 2010

Thursday, June 24, 2010. 3 islands in 3 days- the best two weeks of the year. Islands #2: Galveston. Not much to say here, we came home for a day between the trips to unpack dirty clothes, repack clean ones, sleep a couple hours and head back out. But I think it's neat that we saw three different oceans (I guess one is just the gulf.) in such a short span of time. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Seth, Makenzie and Bowen. Hey, It's me, Jessica. Hatch Adventures: A-Dios.
http://adventuresofaustandja.blogspot.com/2012/04/dios.html
Blog break for 4 months.but don't worry we will be back. Austin will be going to Chile. With the ROTC to study and train with the Chilean military academy to build relations, gain cultural understanding, and practice his espagnol. After the academy, he gets to travel all the way down to the southern tip of Chile in the Patagonia. And then go down to Fort Hood in Texas. To shadow a Lieutenant for a few weeks. Ironically the Chilean flag looks a lot like the Texas one. Who can really tell the difference?

Monday, May 24, 2010. Better to have loved and lost, than never Lost at all? A rare Donnie post. Oh well, I doubt we will ever see anything that good on TV for a long time. So what did you think? Poll on the side- - - -. Friday, May 21, 2010. How would you rate your pain on a scale of 0 to 10. 0 being no pain at all and 10 being the worst pain imaginable? Just inflammatory cells). Sunday, May 27, 2012. Our Favorite Things About Europe. Each day on our trip was truly an adventure. 2 days in a new city goes by quick so we had to plan well and be as efficient as possible. That means taking advantage of Europe's excellent public transportation. In fact, we noted that on one busy day we had taken a ride on a train, tram, subway, bus, cable car, boat, and airplane! Denmark- Fredricksborg Castle. Having visited many amazing castles/palaces on our trip, this castle truly stood out. German...
