On the birthday boy or girl's door frame so when they get up, they walk through them and immediately start to feel special! We gather in the morning for them to open presents,. They sit in the "special" chair to open them 3rd:. We have their favorite breakfast. Which is usually German pancakes 4th:. We have a birthday party. They get to chose what we have for dinner. Tuesday, June 16, 2009. I've never been athletic. My parents tried their best to encourage me to learn athletic things, they put me in sport programs: soccer, basketball, golf, tennis, volleyball. The Family of Brad, Jenni, Ayden, Alex and Laela. Monday, May 24, 2010. While this is pretty belated I need to give my Ayden a big birthday shout out. She turned SIX last week! Here she is waking up to her loot and heart shaped pancakes. She received a birthday hat, sticker, pencil and certificate at school. She loved it and wore the hat all day everywhere we went. They also announced her birthday over the loud speaker and she thought that was super cool. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETHEART. WE SURE LOVE YOU!

Monday, January 26, 2009. What did I do in a former life to deserve the kind of car problems I have? Was I one of those machines that smashes old cars into pancakes? Was I road salt that corrodes the underbelly? Was I a gigantic pothole? Perhaps I was black ice or a semi that shoots rocks into windshields? Whatever it was, it had to be bad, and it had to be the kind of thing that cars HATE because apparently my 15 year history of needing rescue on the side of the road is not yet over.
