After talking to my sister about it on her visit here, she arrived home and was cleaning her kitchen. She found the blue cookbook, Joy of Cooking. She found the messy food grungy page. I made up the recipe immediately and enjoyed every bite of the cake. Dan even complained when it was gone, so I made another! Quick, Rich, Moist Coffee Cake.

Monday, June 30, 2014. I can't believe Ian is finally 5! He's been saying, "i'm going to be 5." for at least 6 months. He's been looking forward to his birthday for so long. He know when he's 5 he gets to go to kindergarten too. For breakfast he wanted chocolate chip pancakes. He opened his presents, The Lego Movie and a Batman DS games. When later asked by Jenny who gave him his presents he said nobody, they were just sitting on the table when he woke up! He is learning to read and can count to 100.

Saturday, December 27, 2014. December Stories and Pictures. I made this ornament and gave it to some friends this year, as well as Ian's teacher. Jack plopped all her toys down on her blanket and went as far away as he could to do his own thing. I think that only lasted a few minutes but at least he tired to resolve his issues with her. Wednesday, August 19, 2015. I've been fretting all summer for school to begin. I didn't want it to start. I was still recovering from last year. Last year was tough. Ian, however was very excited. Saturday, September 19, 2009. So in August Stevie, Michael and I went to California to visit my Aunt Shelley and my friend Larisa. We were able to do all kinds of fun things. A view of San Francisco from Alcatraz. Krazy Hats on Peir 39/Fisherman's Wharf. Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. I've never seen trees like these. the forrest was beautiful. I'm so glad we got to go there. I hope we can go back next time we visit so we can go on a longer hike. All in all the trip was a success :). The BEST day ever!
