The City of Taylor. That posting thing I do sometimes. Posted October 18, 2009 by Taylor in Around Charleston. So, Charleston. Charleston. …Charleston. This was the first time I had been back in just a shade over two years, and it did me a lot of good. I got off the plane in Charleston in the afternoon and Leezle (y’all remember Leezle, right? Charleston has provided for your homecoming by giving us a heatwave, damn you.”. When are you coming back? Please, please come back! October 11 at 1:17pm. I spent ...

The City of Taylor. Laquo; How can I type when I have lost motor control? Posted July 5, 2009 by Taylor in Adventures in Massamachusetts. Yep, they had the baby. Thursday night we all went out for Karaoke (these people are Karaoke fiends, it’s weird…except that they are really good, so it makes sense? That’s great and all, but really I just care that I was the FIRST person to know that she was in labor! I TOTALLY won the friend battle! Suck it, other friends! 10 responses to this post. The City of Taylor. Laquo; Back in the swing (God, strike me down for that ridiculous pun). From the Draft Folder. My trip to Baltimore this weekend. Posted August 3, 2009 by Taylor in Adventures in Massamachusetts. Presented in a convenient, easy-to-compose format that allows me to not have to think too much. My friend with the pregnant wife: Hey! A bunch of people who you’ve never met and only heard of twice. The Sox play at Camden Yards. Wanna come? Me: Not even a little bit! But thanks for asking!

The City of Taylor. Laquo; From the Drafts: Spam names. Why I love fall. Posted September 3, 2009 by Taylor in Adventures in Massamachusetts. It’s only the very beginning of September, and even though we never had much of a summer, Autumn is already in the air here. I’ve been waking up to cool mornings. Certainly not so cool that I don’t want to get out of bed (well, who am I kidding? I never want to get out of bed), but cool enough that I need a jacket when I leave in the mornings. YEAH, IT IS WAAAAY TO...

Snapshots of a Life (In Truxton Circle). A Truxton Circle Life In Pictures. What Would You Like To Order? I Do Have a Second Cat! I Think the Mattresses are Breeding. August 6, 2007. So one day on my way to work last week I counted not one, not two, but FOUR mattresses on the sidewalks. And three of them were all within about two blocks of my house. Including this wonderful mattress assorted junk that had appeared the previous day. I just don’t even understand. This entry was posted in Where Am I?
In the Long Run, We Should All Knit: July 2009
http://longrunknitter.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
In the Long Run, We Should All Knit. Wednesday, July 22, 2009. I realised recently that some of my favorite skirts are getting a bit ragged. The weather has been so bad most of the summer that I hadn't started wearing skirts most days until the past week or so. I thought this was a perfect time to try out a new book I recently got, Sew What! Plus, and this was super exciting for me, I learned to use my serger! Posted by Gloria Quincy. Links to this post. In the Long Run, We Should All Knit. Tuesday, July 21, 2009. Green Day at the TD Banknorth Garden, 20 July 2009. Plus, The Bravery was also impressive, with the lead singer really delivering melodic, energized vocals. He did have a weird habit of sitting down on the stage or facing backwards while singing, which looked odd on an arena stage. But it made me want to buy an album by them, regardless. I'll check out their itunes offerings tonight. The Boston Globe review is here. Posted by Gloria Quincy.
In the Long Run, We Should All Knit: Movie Review: Taken
http://longrunknitter.blogspot.com/2009/07/movie-review-taken.html
In the Long Run, We Should All Knit. Monday, July 20, 2009. There is nothing special about this movie. The action sequences are tight, but not groundbreaking; Neeson's performance is solid but not astonishing. However, at only 1.5 hours long, it doesn't wear out it's welcome, and it is clear that it doesn't have delusions of grandeur. Posted by Gloria Quincy. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). In the Long Run, We Should All Knit. Sunday, September 23, 2007. I'm quite happy with the result, and I can't wait to see them on Taylor. Hopefully she will have some pictures from the Saratoga reenactment with her wearing them. For now, I have included photos of me wearing them with one of my regency dresses (sadly, I don't have a proper 18th century outfit to really show these off, but mitts similar to these were also worn during the early 19th century). ETA: And now I have pics of them on Taylor!
