Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Hard to believe a year has passed since this happy, loving, sweet little man came into our lives. We are so very lucky! At a doctors appointment last week he weighed in at 23lb 15oz (87th %) and 30.5" (77th %). He's wearing 12-18 month clothes, size 3 shoes and size 3 diapers. He's now had three ear infections and about one virus per month since starting daycare in Oct '13. Not as bad as K had it so we're counting our lucky stars there. Such a happy, happy boy! Friday, April 10, 2015. Well, it seems like a monthly post might be the new norm. We do what we can, right? M and I celebrated our 9th anniversary and enjoyed a nice fondue dinner followed by this sunset. The kids had a great time with the grandparents while we were out for a few hours. Win-win! The weather has been up and down, with mostly nice 60 and 70 degree days but also a few snow storms. This was one of the first warm weekend days at our local park. C got the hang of putting eggs in his basket =).

Wednesday, October 15, 2014. This time of year is so fun! The holidays come one by one, the trees change and the air gets a bit brisk. Love it =) Sunday we made it to the pumpkin patch and the rain drops started falling as we left.but not before some photo ops! Arriving - they aren't quite sure about it yet. Sibling love.creepy pig. Thursday, June 25, 2015. Luckily for C his tubes are still in place and the ear drops are quickly addressing the infection. Monday, June 8, 2015. I'm not sure how it sneaks up on me every single year but our little lady just had yet another birthday! On May 29th she turned five. She's a funny, sweet, loving, smart, energetic little girl and had a FULL weekend of festivities. We were all exhausted, hence the 10 day lag in getting this posted =). She started her birthday with special "5" pancakes by Daddy.

M was away on business for a full 7 days, 6 nights and got home last night *WOO-HOO* Luckily my Dad came over for an hour in the evening to help with bath/book/bed time and the kids stayed healthy. All I can say is I don't have any idea how single parents or parents who have a spouse that travels a lot do it. It's TOUGH! A few quick shots from our week:. It was COLD here, like setting records at -14 cold. So we had to come up with a lot of indoor activities. FET #1 - July 12.
