The Gussenhoven Family: March 2011
http://thegussenhovens.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 17, 2011. There is no mistake about it, these boys are definitely brothers! Sometimes being a brother is even better than being a superhero." Mark Brown. This is Cooper when he was a baby:. At first glance, they look so much alike and they have so many other similarities, but they are also so different and completely opposite in so many ways. They both were born with LOTS of dark hair. I love it! They both sleep with their arms up and don't want to be swaddled. Cooper was not a good nurse...

The Gussenhoven Family: January 2012
http://thegussenhovens.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 9, 2012. The Most Wonderful Time of the Year! December was a great month for us. I only had class for about a week and it was such a nice feeling being home in the evenings! David had 2 weeks off for Christmas break and we got to spend a lot of time together as a family. We did some projects that were unfinished around the house, we watched some movies and did some shopping, and we actually got to do a lot of relaxing! Here are some of the things Rascal did this year:. Our weather hasn't ...

Tuesday, December 13, 2011. This post is very overdue. Here is what we did in November:. Cooper took Carter for a ride in his truck. Carter laughed the entire time. They both loved it. Look who started standing on his own. Cooper made silly faces:. We had family pictures done:. Cooper wrote his name all by himself! We went swimming at the gym. Thank goodness for my awesome classmates that were also stuck out there with me. They made it a lot more fun. Talk about a heart-breaker! Carter turned 9 months!

The Gussenhoven Family: February 2012

Wednesday, February 22, 2012. The Rest of January 2012. I am the luckiest person in the world to get to stay home and spend everyday with these two crazy boys. We walked to pick Cooper up from preschool one sunny morning, and we took Cooper's bike so he could ride it on the way back. Of course Big Ducky had to ride along with Cooper on his bike. My classmates threw me a mini birthday party in class one night. Look at that cake! We went to a family expo where Cooper and David got to feel a real human brain.

The Gussenhoven Family: April 2012
http://thegussenhovens.blogspot.com/2012/08/april-2012.html
Monday, August 13, 2012. We started out the month of April doing some landscaping and yard work. We had concrete curbing done in the backyard and then we filled in all of our flower beds with the same rock that was used in our front yard. I bought Cooper a wheel barrow and shovel that were just the right size for him and he loved helping! The rest of April was filled with spending time outside in the spring weather, planting our garden, and Cooper losing his 1st tooth! Look how loose that tooth is! For t...

The Gussenhoven Family: August 2012
http://thegussenhovens.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 21, 2012. I had a break from school for most of May, with the exception of one online Math class. It was so nice to spend some extra time with the boys and David in the evenings and to not worry about as much homework during the day or at night. This was how I spent my mornings when Cooper was at preschool and Carter was napping - letting the sunshine in while doing my online Math class with a coffee and smelling the flowers my boys got me for Mother's Day. Carter continues to climb.

The Gussenhoven Family: September 2011

Monday, September 26, 2011. School is back in session, which means back to work for David and back to class for me. But someone else is going to school this year too. Cooper! He started preschool a couple weeks ago and he is loving it so far. He goes twice a week for almost 3 hours and is learning a lot. To get Cooper ready and excited for preschool, I took him shopping for a backpack. Of course he picked out a Lightning McQueen one. He is so cute with it on! He loved class and had a great time. I th...

The Gussenhoven Family: April 2012

Wednesday, April 18, 2012. I can't believe how fast his first year flew by! And I also can't believe how different he and Cooper are. Carter doesn't have any attachments (doesn't favor a certain blanket or stuffed animal), doesn't watch TV at all (his choice, not mine), and will eat anything and everything. He only takes one nap during the day, and, unlike Cooper, it's usually only an hour, 2 if I'm super lucky. He also just recently started sleeping through the night! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). For tho...

The Gussenhoven Family: December 2010

Sunday, December 19, 2010. Santa and a Gingerbread House. The first weekend of December we took Cooper to see Santa at Windermere. Cooper was soooo excited to see Santa this year. I could barely get his coat off fast enough while he was running to give Santa a big hug. I wasn't expecting this at all, so I was really lucky to get a picture in time. Cooper told Santa that he wants a truck for Christmas and that he's going to put Mommy's cookies and some milk out for him. Then he sat on his lap and. Cooper ...
