This blog has been created to help myself and others with the struggles of an invisible injury. Traumatic Brain Injuries can be misunderstood by many people, even when it is the most obvious. We all struggle to admit to ourselves at times and trying to explain it to others can be such a challenge. I am usually good with tools, but not no more….burnt my finger with friction, constantly dropping tools and could not manage the straightness of the shelves….even though I had a spirit level haha. TBI and Playing Music. November 4, 2016. So I dedicated myself to playing an instrument, learning to read music and playing a long with others. It is one of the hardest things to do with an invisible injury. The noise can be overwhelming causing headaches, fatigue and agitation; but for me, I feel it is something I need to overcome.
