I met him up at DL to go look around and search for some new boulders. While I was waiting I went to the zoo to kill time. I'm cool with that but wow, we had another fantastic day for the lake with me sending absolutely nothing. Nic came through town on his way to Horsepens 40 for the Triple Crown. Along for the ride was Jeff Sillcox. From Mammoth Lakes. Poor Jeff flew into Minneapolis and had to drive down to Alabama with a hyperactive Nic.

Now you know, and knowing is half the battle. Monday, May 28, 2012. It's not news anymore but Remo had one of the more impressive Birthday Challenges in recent history. It was maybe two weeks ago now but I wanted to write about it a bit. The day started out with Aaron, Dobbe and I meeting up with Fuzzy, Andrea, Kate and Remo at their campsite. I hadn't realized that Remo and Fuzzy were doing a double challenge and the previous day had climbed 30 pitches from a number of different spots around the lake.

Temps were super cold on Saturday but conditions were great over on What Up Weasel. Aaron and I punted rather hard after having done the crux move but hopefully it'll go somewhat soon.
