Alkehornet is a birdcliff at the entrance to Isfjorden, opposite Barentsburg, with Kittiwakes high up in the cliffs amongst other animals. Glaucous Gull and chicks. The trip was rounded off with a photo montage by Paul Goldstein and a photo competition amongst the passengers, and then the Captain’s Dinner (the magnificently named, Captain Beluga no joking). And no trip would be complete without seeing some drunken Sararymen (in background, ie, not us). July 12, 2015.
