About TomCat 9.7 Owners Web Site. This web site is registered to the TomCat 9.7 Owners Association. It is an unincorporated association that operates independently of the manufacturer. Information presented in this web site is contributed by individual boat owners. Where common problems are experienced, the builder will be invited to provide advice on recommended practices that will benefit all owners. When such advice is received, the source will be clearly indicated.
Enhancements

Ted S has developed and electric actuator system for raising and lower either the centerboard or the rudders. It underwent extensive testing on Lake Superior in the summer of 2009. Contact Ted directly for more details by clicking on Hull #6 under the Owners page. Some boats have been modified to include solar panels. On Hull #1, the panels were mounted behind the bench at the rear of the cockpit and also act as supports for the dingy davits. Photos will be added at a later date.
