Sunday, September 29, 2013. And There it Was. Gone! I hate the sound of silence. No pitter patter of little feet. No toys strung across the great-room floor. How I miss those sunny days of Sesame Street. No sticky finger prints on my windows. No sippy cups in the sink. No pint-sized clothes in the laundry. All gone just as quick as a wink. So cherish those noisy days of childhood. Clean up spilled milk with glee. For the days filled with sounds of silence. Are not all they're cracked up to be!
