In prayer it is better to have a heart without words than words without a heart. Back from camp which was awesome! This was by far the best camp ever, anyone else feel that way? As proof of how awesome camp was: I, who am pretty loud and talkative, have lost my tenor voice. I can kind of hear it in my regular speech but where it really got me is in my vocal range. Can't throw out any high pitches or "Wooooooos" without forcing it and even then it doesn't have the -J- in it. Great weather day and night.

One of the Best Weekends Ever! Hey there is still snow on the mountain! Went out to Lunch with my cousins Chi Be and Phi, as well as two visiting cousins from Colorado, Vu, and Be (Vien). Got home around midnight and as i was about to go to sleep i heard the most dreadful nagging sound ever. "Long! Hey there is still snow on the mountain! KOBE IS A BEAST! Great game and it was even more fun with uncles and cousins watching. It was a pretty hot day. BTW: No guests came over to my house. NOT Frosty or Mac.

wanderings of an inner landscape: May 2012

Wanderings of an inner landscape. Wednesday, May 9, 2012. Violence does not make sense. The other day someone told me something that has stuck with me. You are very intelligent, and that is going to be your biggest hindrance. Stop reading. Violence does not make sense. It does not make sense that human beings can hurt each other. Ironically, I want to make sense of that. I think it's because we are all filled with God. Filled to the brim with God. All of us. So how can God violate God? 854 días de amar.

Wanderings of an inner landscape. Thursday, November 1, 2012. From daily reflections I receive by email. The Beatitudes rewritten for the human experience of unworthiness. I thought I would share.]. Who have done all they know how to do. When they stop, God starts. Who resist the urge to prove themselves. They are the owners of true wealth. Who understand that life is a process of growth and healing. They will grow, and their minds will be healed. Who don't beat themselves up for making mistakes. Brandon...

wanderings of an inner landscape: You or me.
http://wanderingsofaninnerlandscape.blogspot.com/2012/08/you-or-me.html
Wanderings of an inner landscape. Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Let's see who is stronger. Staring at this bricked wall counting. There is nothing to wait for,. No one to witness, after all. You have seen into me. You have taken. Away my own mind, riddled. My body with your lies. I have carried you through time,. Cradled and caressed you,. Clenched you hoping you would. You are still the filthy bastard you. I hate you and I hate what you did to me. I give you back all the tremors,. Falling, after five minutes.

Wanderings of an inner landscape. Saturday, January 14, 2012. It may be that when. We no longer know what to do. We have come to our real work,. And that when we no longer. Know which way to go,. If I feel that I have come to the end of all I know today, I consider that I may actually be at a true beginning. Okay, God. Okay. To everyone who has ever been kind to me, come with me. I need you now." (Maya Angelou). And the good news is that I am not alone. There are people on the way, mariposas. I spent the...

Journeying with Faith: June 2011

Sunday, June 12, 2011. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Footprints in the Sand. One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky. In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only. This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,.

Journeying with Faith: Couting My Blessing
http://long-journeyingwithfaith.blogspot.com/2011/12/couting-my-blessing.html
Thursday, December 8, 2011. During the silent retreat I went on during the Thanksgiving break, I spend most of the time smiling and thanking God for all the great people he have brought to my life. There were little of me asking him for stuff, most of the things I prayed for were for other people and their prayer request. I honestly can't remember the last time that I been this happy for this long. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Footprints in the Sand. Mary Stevenson, 1936. Second Sunday of Easter (...
