I've only had to give him extra insulin one time, and that was because I couldn't refuse him a taco that Joanna had brought. Other than that, his BG is usually somewhere between 95-120 when we check before meals. I'd like to think it's because of what we've been eating; I could continue to be anal about the carbs. Attempting to do all of the above with enthusiasm and enjoyment. Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Book Review: Hooked by Catherine Greenman. My rating: 3 of 5 stars. Thea I didn’t like her at all at first. I thought she was rather whiny but once you get an idea of her parents and how she grew up, then it seemed to make sense. At times I felt this book was the print equivalent of an episode of MTV’s. Maybe parents should make this book required reading for their teenage daughters? I totally understand that feeling.
