Learning and reflecting, on my journey as an inquiring teacher
How often do we really let go? | Teacher. Learner. Inquirer.

Teacher. Learner. Inquirer. Learning and reflecting, on my journey as an inquiring teacher. How often do we really let go? October 30, 2016. October 31, 2016. At the start of the school year, as teachers, we set the stage, so to speak, in preparation for the arrival of the students. We decide on the basic layout of the classroom, a reading corner, a makerSpace corner, where to put the materials, and more. I say it but do I actually allow them to take ownership of the place? Then one day, it just happened!

My space to share thoughts and experiences. To ponder ideas and explore my learning and the learning of my learners. Mean girls’ behaviour →. Creating and consuming …. October 31, 2016. Recently, I wrote and shared a post. About wanting to join with other educators to bounce around and grow ideas. I started my blog two years ago, after my mentor and friend. Gave me a few (not so gentle) nudges to share what was happening in my classroom and my head. 8220;What are we consuming; what are creating online?

Reflections of a pre-service teacher. Wednesday, March 16, 2011. I have wondered for a while how well I would be able to teach math, because as I said in my first Math Autobiography, I have doubts about my ability to communicate math instruction effectively. Perhaps it was because this was third grade math, and the concepts were simple, but it was no problem at all. I learned a lot, and I think they even learned something from me! What an inspiring thing! Thursday, March 10, 2011. Monday, March 7, 2011.

I’m back in Australia, back in my flat, and slowly piecing my life back together, but that’s a whole other story. I said goodbye ...
