There were too many cell phones taking pictures, we were rarely. Looking at the same one at the same time. Anyway, that's what I've been up to. Hope you're getting off to a great summer.

Tuesday, June 24, 2014. The Vet Doc Is In! The past few days have been full of imaginative play! I rearranged a few things in the playroom to set up a Vet Clinic! What better way to learn more about pets and how to care for them than with pretend play props. I created a few signs, such as the welcome sign, the waiting room sign and the Doctor on Duty sign. I also used a vet play printable resource from PreK Pages. That included the Pet Patient forms. Here is what was included in the Vet Dramatic Play Set:.

I have done this for ten years. It is basically all that I have come to know. Dr Maria Montessori believed, as many Early Childhood Educ...

Wednesday, January 20, 2016. Show and Tell Tuesday- a day late! I'm linking up with Forever in 5th Grade for her very first Show and Tell linky! I showed my class that they could count out to 100 by making groups of tens. The quickly made the connection that they could count these groups by ten.
