Hellos . . . and good-byes | Creature Chronicles

https://teachingcreatures.wordpress.com/2014/12/17/hellos-and-good-byes

Life as a wildlife educator. Hellos . . . and good-byes. 2014 marked a major milestone for Teaching Creatures. In February, we celebrated 10 years of providing live animal programs to southern New England! It was an exciting year: we re-visited several schools, libraries and families we have served for many years a great honor and also presented at many new libraries and schools, which was a delight as well. Norbert, the bearded dragon, soaks up some sun. Emma helps Milkshake get acquainted with Emmet.

About | Creature Chronicles

https://teachingcreatures.wordpress.com/who-am-i

Life as a wildlife educator. I was born into a family of animal lovers. My first playmates were two orange tabby cats whose gentleness and affection instilled in me a life-long connection to animals. Cats were part of my family my entire childhood, and when I was six, my grandparents bought a farm in western Virginia where I spent large parts of my summers interacting with their cows, pigs, chickens, cats and dogs. Examining sea turtle tracks, Sapelo Island, GA. As a naturalist aboard a whale watch boat.
