Her love of the Lord and family and orphans left me in tears and speechless. I never buy cookbooks any more, everything is free online, who doesn’t love Pinterest. I had 200 servings of...

Your purpose doesn’t have to be the axis of a major market or the defining word on federal law. It can be as simple as selling boiled peanuts at the Piggly Wiggly in the backwoods of Alabama. A person is ultimately judged not by what they believe or what they think, but how those beliefs and thoughts are acted. 8221; but rath...

Practical Skills for Real Life. With My Hand to the Plow. Lately I have days that I work until 2-3 am. I hit the bed hardly able to walk (literally). These are usually days that either I have over-committed myself or something has happened that day that puts me way behind. All of my married life I have had some sort of home industry. Going on. Cakes. And catering for family and friends has been great. I’ve quilted. In the past couple of years my life has changed so much, especially the last year! Even th...
Why Many Homeschool Parents Quit – Teaching Good Things
http://teachinggoodthings.com/why-many-homeschool-parents-quit
Practical Skills for Real Life. Why Many Homeschool Parents Quit. I consider myself somewhere between an Eclectic Home Educator and one who embraces the Multiple Intelligences method. No matter which method you choose, whether using a whole curriculum and finishing each workbook, Classical, Relaxed, community co-ops, etc…. The truth is, it’s down right hard! Am I doing enough? Am I ruining my child for life? Combine that with always being second guessed by others. Is that really a reason any more? But I ...

As I got up to get ready, my daughter said, "You're not coming, are you mom? Since starting to read the book, Hands Free Mama. I've always been a proponent of kids in the kitchen. Sure ...
