Those two school years were spent mentoring primary students in the Peer Helper program. As a group, Peer Helpers ventured to the other campuses in our district and tutored at-risk students, kept records of their development, and reported to their respective teachers. This position gave me my first opportunity to work directly with students, which turned out to be both challenging and rewarding. Our experiences and projects on our journey through homeschooling! Wednesday, April 22, 2009. We planted cabbage, spinach, lettuce, carrots, radishes, beets and potatoes.
