Teaching Myself the History of Art | Art Traveller's Learning Log
Teaching Myself the History of Art. Art Traveller's Learning Log. Teaching Myself and Learning at Birkbeck. June 12, 2012. I’ve now completed my first year of a BA in Arts and Humanities at Birkbeck University and it was fabulous. I spent a long time debating with myself about wether to do a single subject or joint degree, however the joint degree I think will be offers more flexibility in it’s application to the voluntary/paid job market. Teaching Myself to Sew
Teaching Myself to Sew. I have just recently taught myself how to sew and quilt. This is to blog my experiences as I stumble through this. Wednesday, August 19, 2009. Teaching My Toddlers
Tuesday, March 5, 2013. Learning Soroban - Japanese Abacus. A while ago I posted about making a homemade soroban for my kids out of a Melissa and Doug abacus. The bead size of a traditional abacus was just too small to be truly effective for my son, age 3. My daughter did alright with a small abacus, but in general bigger is still better with my kids while they are young. It makes the learning more "obvious.". App (ipad only) which parents on the BrillKids. Early learning forum had highly recommended.

Teaching My Way To Insanity. Thoughts on teaching and memoir of 34 years in the classroom. Happy Birthday, Dr. Jonas Salk. I am happy to announce that the manuscript Teaching My Way to Insanity is finally finished and gone to the editor. Now, I am trying to figure out what kind of book cover my memoir needs. Who knew this part would be that hard? I’ll be the first to admit my teaching career has been a little unorthodox (Okay, a lot orthodox! I wrote the manuscript because I don’t think so. I joined the ...
