Teaching with TWitte: May 2013

http://teachingwithtwitte.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html

And proud of it. Linkys: Next School Year and Summer Bucket List. With 21 more days of school to go, you better believe I am. Thinking about summer and next year. Linking up with Kim. From Finding JOY in 6th Grade. From A Cupcake for the Teacher. And A Modern Teacher. Is so much more exciting right now than sharing my classroom happenings over the last week. But I apologize in advance because here I go again trying to fit several linkys into one HUGE post. This year the only real research projects that w...

Teaching with TWitte: January 2015

http://teachingwithtwitte.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html

And proud of it. 100 RAKs to 30. In college we celebrated 100 Days to Graduation. Over break I was thinking about New Year's resolutions and turning 30 in April. Combine these memories and thoughts and you have my personal challenge: 100 RAKs to 30. Each day for the 100 days leading up to my 30th birthday, I will complete one Random Act of Kindness. I started on New Year's day by scouring Pinterest for RAK ideas and compiled my own list of 100. I will be sharing my progress via Instagram. A Day Our Way.

Teaching with TWitte: March 2015

http://teachingwithtwitte.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html

And proud of it. It has been a very long time since I have blogged and even longer since I linked up with Kacey at Doodle Bugs Teaching. For Five for Friday. I am trying to get back into blogging regularly and think this is the perfect way to start. A couple of weeks ago I was inspired by one of my favorite IGers, Rachel at Third Grade Cupcakes. She posted the most adorable countdown to PARCC, so I borrowed and tweaked this idea to use as a countdown to MCAS. And a brag tag for Excellent Effort on ELA MC...

Teaching with TWitte: September 2014

http://teachingwithtwitte.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html

And proud of it. Happy Back To School Week! Why is it that in the summer I think, "I will finally have time to blog," and then in September I think, "Where did the summer go; why didn't I blog? School starts this week, so it seems appropriate to kick-off school year blogging with Farley's Currently. And Mrs. Laffin's A Peek at My Week. Music, Broadway, movies - Glee is all of my favorite things rolled into one show. 3. As excited as I am to meet my new 4th graders, I would love one more week. But we ...

Monday, September 1, 2014. Hey there, everyone! I feel like I've been a leaf swept away in the wind. "Teacher Summer" has ended and we've been in school for 3 weeks already! 3 WEEKS, like a month practically. Reading Royalty: Biography Projects

http://www.readingroyalty.com/2013/05/biography-projects.html

Ramblings of a reading specialist. Tuesday, May 14, 2013. My kiddos have recently finished their biography reports. They came out SO great! I gave them a choice, they could make a bottle doll and write a report or they could create "quilt squares", which is an outline of that person's life on a poster board. We did our presentations today, the kids said they LOVED making the bottle dolls. Albert Einstein = adorable! Can you match the other famous Am ericans to their dolls? May 14, 2013 at 5:59 PM. Fourth Grade Lemonade: Currently January 2015

http://fourthgradelemonade.blogspot.com/2014/12/currently-january-2015.html

Wednesday, December 31, 2014. I can't believe it's going to be 2015. Doesn't that feel like such a futuristic year? Maybe it's just me but I remember when it was New Years Eve 1999 and being so excited for the year 2000. I can't believe that was 15 years ago! Listening- We've been binging on Netflix since we got home yesterday. My husband is watching "Crimes of the Century" right now while I'm reading "The Devil in the White City.". Really looking forward to it and wishing it was 7:00 already! Happiness ...
