Mr. Flynn's American Lit Blog: A good grammar video...does such a thing exist?
http://american-dream-delbarton.blogspot.com/2012/07/good-grammar-videodoes-such-thing-exist.html
Mr Flynn's American Lit Blog. Monday, July 9, 2012. A good grammar video.does such a thing exist? I found some videos that were able to break this mold. The first is my friend Professor Grammar:. First off, this video is wacky to the point of a train wreck. Something about British people. But as it keeps you interested, it uses some good pneumonic devices, "Opshacom," and some helpful graphics throughout the video. It's well edited and relatively concise. http://american-dream-delbarton.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Mr Flynn's American Lit Blog. Wednesday, August 24, 2011. My Favorite Reading Memory. I've had a lot of great reading experiences. A few come to mind immediately. Catcher in the Rye. In Costa Rica when I was in 8th grade (I thought the cover looked strangely plain. Also, the title confused me.) Rabbit, Run. In London in college (bought it at a book fair). Ender's Game. In high school and then later passing on the series to my youngest brother, who enjoyed it equally. Delbarton's own Peter Dinkledge.

CIS High School Principal's Blog. Sunday, January 23, 2011. To Learn, Take a Test . Really? I was just sent a New York Times article from one of our teachers entitled, To Really Learn, Quit Studying and Take a Test. The article, in general, says that the results of their study indicate that students learn better by taking tests rather than repeatedly reading information or by drawing concept maps. I'm not convinced, but I welcome any thoughts. Posted by Ted Cowan. Friday, January 21, 2011. I hope that ha...
