The school kitchens were closed for two weeks in May but I can’t remember why. It meant that mum had to bring all 3 of us home at lunchtimes. She said she was fasting. There were a lot of unknowns at the start of summer due to family changes, new endeavor, and scheduling. Yet with all that mystery, we patched together some terrific family events and lots of meaningful work too. Now that the finish line is near, it's time to wrap up the summer work and prepare for the new school year, fall sports, and autumn family celebrations and events. It's a Beautiful Day!
