Marine Species Associated with Debris Sightings. Marine Debris is often associated with wildlife - alive and dead. Taxonomic surveys require the creation of a field guide with species profiles pages for species observered in situ. Non-taxonomic surveys (such as beach surveys) do not as they are focused on non living items. There is a cross over when wildflife is trapped in man made materials and this site can support both types of observations.
