Movie Review: Mockingjay Part 1. Asymp; 1 Comment. I FINALLY saw the new Hunger Games movie, Mockingjay Part 1. I’ve been waiting all year (since I saw Catching Fire) to see it, and I was not disappointed. Just like the first two movies, it was extremely close to the book. Which is pretty impressive, since the first half of the book it was based on was mainly focused on the emotions of the main character.
