Teahousejunkie: September 2008

http://www.teahousejunkie.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html

Wednesday, September 24, 2008. First Day of School. Karina* started First Baptist Pre-school this month. Well, technically it started last month but we were busy "researching" and "interviewing" so we got a late start. (Technically is it CMO or MMO? After all that.drumroll. it came down to who had what days available. Luckily, I can't say enough good things. They say a lot of things about Karina too, mostly good and usually funny. But when I pick her up I see laughter and excitement. I see Karina wit...

Teahousejunkie: January 2009

http://www.teahousejunkie.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html

Saturday, January 24, 2009. Like I said I used the break and recovering from tonsilitis to watch movies. I saw Nights of Rodanthe and High School Musical 3* and liked them both. (I won't be offended if you stop reading now). But the one I really liked was. With Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston. Obviously it is a movie about a dog. But, no I didn't think it was that sad. Probably because we had a laborador. OK, still I cried at the end). The point being I could totally relate to Wilson always wanting to d...

Saturday, November 29, 2008. Dear Dadda's Work,. Mommy was hoping I would write to Santa Claus but I really can't say I like him at this point.* For now, all I know is that you took us to see Mickey Mouse and so I think writing you is a much better idea. I wish I could go to dadda's work everyday. He gets to see Mickey a couple times a year.wow! This time he asked if I could go too, and you said yes! Mickey IS real. And I got to meet him, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto! Well I am writing you this letter...

Teahousejunkie: What I'm Drinking Now

http://www.teahousejunkie.blogspot.com/2009/08/what-im-eating-now.html

Sunday, August 2, 2009. What I'm Drinking Now. This salsa recipe originated with my aunt joann, and having visited her recently, I think everything just tastes better in the midwest. Up there you can visit an actual. Where you can eat a home cooked meal. (In case I'm missing something, please let me know if you have a place like that in PTC. Umm besides Atlanta Bread.) I've been drinking this salsa like soup, it is SO good. (Although admittedly it could be a pregnancy* thing). 1 can 16 oz diced tomato.

The Smalleys: 4th of July 2009

http://thesmalley4.blogspot.com/2009/07/4th-of-july-2009.html

Sunday, July 5, 2009. 4th of July 2009. Although we've lived in PTC for 3 years this was my first year to celebrate July 4th. Bryan and the kids enjoyed the parade and fireworks last year while I was in Mississippi. It's hard to believe we fit in everything we did in one day! We had decorated our golf cart a couple of days before and were very excited to take it to the parade. Unfortunately, we got everything loaded up and ready to go and lo and behold, we had a flat tire! Love the new blog! My kids make...
