Meske MTB Mayhem: December 2014
http://dzuulie.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 15, 2014. The One With All The Stuff! Rounding out the edges of my 2014 year has been exciting! Slowly transitioning my bike miles to running has brought on new ways to experience the same old routes. I used to think that biking places allowed you to take in the scenery.and then.I started running again! Talk about watching paint dry! So the pace comparison and accumulated miles may be dramatically different between my biking and running.but. So how did I whittle away the last few weeks?

Meske MTB Mayhem: November 2014
http://dzuulie.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 2, 2014. This weekend we saw our first snow flurries and the promise of winter being right around the corner is officially here! To celebrate, husband and I decided to do something that is not bicycling, but just as much fun! We went to see the Detroit Red Wings on Halloween. As it turns out, it was a great game and we even had the opportunity to sign the "Get Well" board for Gordie Howe. And amazingly, our keys were resurrected from some where within. What are the chances? I made a trip...

Meske MTB Mayhem: March 2014
http://dzuulie.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 2, 2014. I'm long over due on this post, my family and friends have been asking for a rundown on the gear that makes my winter travels possible for a few weeks now. I'm going to blame the overall delay on being in a snow coma :-). Anyways, below is a listing of the winter gear and apparel that's been keeping me sane over the past twelve weeks! When I need to up the toastiness of my foot apparel, I will add a set of the toe specific chemical warmers to work in conjunction with my socks.

Meske MTB Mayhem: October 2014
http://dzuulie.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 26, 2014. Captain America, Thor, The Wicked Witch, The Good Witch, Superman and a hot dog all ran with me yesterday. How often do you get to say that? The 3rd annual Halloween Hustle 5K was held at Stony Creek Metropark and thanks to the event organizers and volunteers, this event went off like an Olympic marathon. No sooner had it started and I was finished with an Asiago bagel in hand! My favorite part of the race was watching all the little kids that were racing alongside the adults.

Sunday, May 3, 2015. Now that April has wrapped up and the 30 days of biking challenge has come to an end, I have to say, I am really excited about next year! This challenge was focused on creating an interest in cycling and had an added bonus benefit that for every 30 pledges a free bike was given to a child that needed it (via free bikes 4 kidz). Meske MTB Mayhem: April 2015
http://dzuulie.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 27, 2015. Had This Been A Real Emergency. A few weeks ago I received an unexpected package in the mail from my grandma. Within the confines of a manila envelope sat a piece of paper and a necklace. On the outside of the envelop it said, "Handle with care.". My grandmother has been very proud of my cycling accomplishments, but also perplexed about the path. . There was a time in my life, ten years ago in fact, that I never would have been able to envision my current passion for cycling either.

Monday, May 12, 2014. Its All So Blurry! The 6 and 12 Hours of Stony has come and gone and now it really feels like the season has begun! Josh and I went back and forth about racing my fat bike or the super fly as we prepared for the race. We finally decided to bring them both and to see "what" happened as the day progressed. I anticipated that it would be tough on the Fatbike, but also very interesting. The nuts and bolts of it involves my staying out of Josh's way.haha. Kathy is a two time RAAM compet...

Meske MTB Mayhem: I Wanna Be Sedated...The Mohican 100

Wednesday, June 3, 2015. I Wanna Be Sedated. The Mohican 100. Darkness was descending upon the trail, blanketing the root lined single track with an eerie facade of mischief. Slipping and sliding, I picked my way in the dark. Feeling slightly reassured by. The headlights of camp vehicles off to my left. With the storm continuing to blow in, if I could not see, at least I knew I could roll down the hill towards the campers if things got a little out of control. But I also saw new trail, camped in all my ca...
