Life as we grow it. Monday, November 16, 2009. First is the cemetery set up. We don't see too many trick or treaters on our street so Don decided to lure the victims in with orange lights on the tree. This kids cracks me up. Ummm he'll have to explain this one. Second, the school parties:. And the day he starts mixing it up in a mosh pit, I will look back and know exactly where to place the blame. Third, the main event. You can see why we opted for the pirate at school instead of the official costume.

Life as we grow it. Thursday, September 17, 2009. Olivia, Second Grade. Grant, Pre-K. Unfortunately my fave picture is the blurry one. Never fails. September really doesn't bring the end of summer for us Floridians but it does bring the end of our lazy, unstructured days. What will I miss the most? Going to the beach, a lot. Hanging at the pool, a lot. Going tubing in the middle of the week. Even the early summer series swim meets were lots of fun. Even Grant had some fun. Songs about the senses.

Steve, Reggie, and I are incredibly happy to announce the arrival of our baby girl, Amelia Grace Behnke. Amelia was born on January 25. 2013 at 12:11 pm. She was 7 pounds 3 ounces and 19 inches long. We feel very lucky to have welcomed a healthy baby girl after a high risk pregnancy and a not uneventful birth. Luckily, Amelia has always been healthy and she made it through both the pregnancy and birth beautifully. She’s an amazing little girl and we’re so blessed to have her in our lives. Did you see it?
