Sunday, November 1, 2009. Day 1 Stages 1 and 2. Ok here it is. Day 1 report:. Lets start with the results for the team. Following that it was straight back to the Motel for some food and a rest as the start of stage 2 loomed only a couple of hours away. At 1230 we were back up to Queens Park for the start of stage 2. 81 km out to the infamous Bluff hill which hits gradients of 23% over the last 2km to the top. Fun for all! Bring on Bluff. Monday, November 2, 2009. Day 2 Stage 3. It was a nervous awakening this morning first of all to see what the weather had on offer and secondly how the bunch would react from yesterdays carnage. And to be honest both points were to provide an awesome days racing. Well were half way through the Power Net Tour of Southland and its safe to say that's its all on after the most decisive day in the race so far.
