Downing Table for Six : January 2015
http://stephaniedowning.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Downing Table for Six. January 24, 2015. We got to have a family fun day in Indianapolis, thanks to a Christmas gift from Josh's Uncle John and Aunt Becky. Our first stop was a candy store we had seen on TV, Rocket Fizz. It was fun to look around. We let each of the kids choose one thing to take to the main event, Disney on Ice! We had great seats for the show! After the show, we had a yummy dinner at P.F. Chang's. It's becoming a family favorite! I'm always thankful for great family days like this!

Downing Table for Six : August 2014
http://stephaniedowning.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Downing Table for Six. August 31, 2014. We had a laid back celebration at home for Josh's birthday this year. Hannah made Josh a crown at Kindergarten since that is the tradition in her classroom. She really wanted him to wear it to the Illini football game the next day, but Josh said he was worried it would get ruined if it rained. The kids and I made Josh a cookie cake since he's not a big cake person. Josh is a great daddy and is so loved and appreciated by his wife and kids! August 26, 2014. Hannah w...

http://kristinagorsch.blogspot.com/2015/04/carvers-first-haircut.html
Gorsch Moment in Time. Wednesday, April 29, 2015. January 31: Carver got his first hair cut! It was a BIG deal for this momma. It wasn't technically his first, he had many trims up to this point (both by myself and my friend/stylist Lisa! This big boy hair cut actually stared as a trim but it wasn't looking so hot and Marc convinced me to let him cut it with the clippers. The transformation was HUGE- he looked like a different kids. Kinnick said "He doesn't look like he is in our family anymore!

Almost missed our airplane ride home from Colorado. Managed to get robbed at the swimming pool. And if you think that's it, there's even more I haven't had a chance to share! Life has not been dull! Had graciously taken all of our kids to. While I tried to figure things out. I asked the officer if there was any hope of recove. And I...

Downing Table for Six : June 2014
http://stephaniedowning.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Downing Table for Six. June 29, 2014. VBS was fun and exhausting this year! I headed up the birth-3 year old class, which ended up being divided into two rooms because we had so many! It worked out well for me since Aleah and Jacob both fell into this age group, so I got to spend the week with them. Carrying a 2 month old baby around while herding a bunch of 2 and 3 year olds is hard work. I was TIRED by Friday! Jacob and Reagan McCrae, future classmates! Aleah at VBS looking like her Papa Ed. Hannah did...

Downing Table for Six. December 31, 2014. 2014 A Year of Change! Reflecting on 2014, I have to declare it the year of CHANGE (have I mentioned that I hate change! Some of it was good; some of it was hard. Major changes in our household this year included:. Becoming a family of 5 when Aleah was born in April. Josh losing his job of nearly 10 years and starting a new job. Me babysitting our niece, Madelyn. Hard things we went through on top of the change:. My Grandpa Miller passed away. We were able to spo...

Water, Missions, and Me. My blog record as I prepare and participate in water ministry. Friday, September 2, 2011. On a separate note, I had lunch today with a coworker and we discussed XXI Stones. A local non profit that has just started recently. Hopefully, some of what I learn this week will be useful for XXI Stones as they learn and serve both locally and across the world.
