The Caprons: July 2014
http://thecaprons.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
For the past 3 summers, our kids have done swim lessons at the YMCA. We have loved having various friends in the same classes with us each year. It is just so special to have these memories with friends and to see how our kids have grown from year to year! Abby enjoyed swim lessons, but she is still quite nervous about putting her face in the water. I can see that swim lessons helped her some, but she and Jon have some work to do over the rest of the summer! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Caprons: June 2014
http://thecaprons.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
This and That in June. VBS 2014: We were thrilled to have the Sieverts join us in Waco for our church's VBS this year. Luke and Abby are taking a gymnastics class this summer. They both had a great time on the first day of class, and I was happy that Luke gladly participated in each activity. Some Yellow Crowned Night Herons made a nest in a tree in our front yard. Our picture is not great, but these three baby birds were huge and messy! Links to this post. Caleb's Last Days of First Grade!

Browders in Spain: Hasta Ahora

This is a phrase that took me some time to get used to in Spain. It literally means "Until Now". Compare it to the more familiar "Hasta Luego", meaning "See you later". What "Hasta Ahora" really means is, "See you soon" or "See you in a bit" - as though we are expecting to meet up again in the immediate future. Posted by russ 11:39 PM.
