About 3 in the afternoon, I got a call from my mother. The tone in her voice was obvious, but she wouldn't tell me what was going on. Wednesday, September 11, 2013. As Team Dennis, we try to participate in various events throughout the year. One event that has become somewhat of a tradition is the Ragnar Relay Series. Friday, May 10, 2013. This week has been a rough one for Team Dennis. On Wednesday, May 8th, we lost our Uncle Doug - one of Dennis' younger brothers. What's worse is that we lost him to cancer. Lung cancer. Something we found out about less than 5 weeks ago. As sad and upset as I have been this week, the thing I am feeling the most is anger. I'm furious. I'm pissed! Where is the outrage about lives lost? More than 1,500 people die daily. From cancer. Yes, that's daily! So what can we do about this?

Small moments, great memories. We told them they could wade in, just to their ankles. It's her last day with us. She has had a rough week, and she is going to be with Jäger in Dog Heaven tonight. :(. Eo is in the PACE (gifted) program at school. He is actually the only kindergartener that made the cut this year. So he gets one-on-one time with the instructor. Wow! We met her at open house the other night, and she showed us these analogies he came up with on his own, and wrote on the white board.
