Friday, August 7. Today was my last greenway grind before the Breck Epic. I saw six deer this morning. At least I think it was six. I saw three in the first group, so I can't rule out that they didn't split up, and the group of two and the solo deer I saw later were the same deer I saw the first time. Something special from Wisconsin. Monday, August 17, 2015. The Weekend That Was. The weekend was Kornfest in my hometown. That's right corn with a K. How redneck is that? Actually I love it there! Every year we try and do the run. It offers a 2 mile or a 10k. The Queen has been banged up and opted for the 2 mile and I did the 10k. The weather was horrible for a run. Hot, humid and sunny.
