Sunday, July 31, 2016. Today we woke up to the sound of thunder and pouring rain. Immediately I was grateful that we weren’t about to stand in a line for an hour and a half in this weather. And after searching for nearby chapels we realized that there were no meetings that started after 9:30 am, so that’s another good reason that we did the Cave of Winds last night. Far out of our way. So we decided to add that to our itinerary. I’m glad we stopped there, not only because learning about 19. After we made...

Ebert Family: Heey batter batter!

http://www.teamebert.com/2016/07/heey-batter-batter.html

Monday, July 25, 2016. Our last full day spent with the Hobbs’ was low key, just what we needed. We’d offered to take the boys to an indoor trampoline park/ninja warrior gym, but they opted to hang out at home. Clara still had a fever and was feeling worse than yesterday. Thanks to modern technology we were able to see a doctor online, who sent in a prescription to a nearby pharmacy. So convenient! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Ebert Family: A pool, a picnic, a powerwash

http://www.teamebert.com/2016/07/a-pool-picnic-powerwash.html

Saturday, July 23, 2016. A pool, a picnic, a powerwash. Looking at our blue dot location on Google maps we realized that we’re more than halfway across the country. Each day is flying by! It’s hard to believe we’re down to the final two weeks of our trip. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Nauvoo butcher, baker, and candlestick maker. A pool, a picnic, a powerwash. Ebert Family: A Nauvoo butcher, baker, and candlestick maker.

http://www.teamebert.com/2016/07/a-nauvoo-butcher-baker-and-candlestick.html

Wednesday, July 27, 2016. A Nauvoo butcher, baker, and candlestick maker. Despite the ridiculous heat, Clara really wanted to visit the ‘Pioneer Past times’ field, so we did. They had several games for people of all ages to try out. Brian and I mastered a ‘two-sticks-and-a-hoop’ lawn game that I don’t know the name of. It was fun but painful on the knuckles! Finally we made our way up Mulholland Street. Even though it was only 6:00 it seemed like everything was closed! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Ebert Family: Pioneer Day

http://www.teamebert.com/2016/07/pioneer-day.html

Sunday, July 24, 2016. In between the two historical spots we attended church with the Hobbs’. Kirsten was subbing in primary and teaching young women’s today. Clara attended her primary lesson and she and I both attended her young women’s lesson. She’s a very good teacher! Hopefully whatever is ailing her passes quickly, we have a big fun day planned for tomorrow. One other exciting thing that happened today was getting a package from home! Ebert Family: Yellowstone!

http://www.teamebert.com/2016/07/yellowstone.html

Wednesday, July 20, 2016. You usually never get in the water! 8221; That just goes to show how warm the river was, because I don’t swim in cold water. Ever. Eventually we made it to Old Faithful, which graciously accommodated us by erupting within 10 minutes of our arrival. We were still behind schedule, but not having to wait 90 minutes to see the famous geyser was much appreciated. Again, the boardwalk was teeming with people but we managed to get a pretty good spot to watch. Back on the road.

Arnell's: The Housewife

http://teamarnell.blogspot.com/2009/11/housewife.html

Tuesday, November 24, 2009. Well I haven't updated the blog in a bit and quite a lot has changed! Indeed I have become a housewife. A few weeks ago I went to work and was informed by my manager that our headquarters in Chicago were shutting down our west coast channel. This includes the offices in the pacific northwest, the bay area in California and our whole building here in Layton. What a surprise! We were without insurance. Thank goodness for Cobra! The school put on a cute little awards ceremony and she received an award and pin from her teacher, Miss Moe. Sammy and two of her best friends, Kate and Tavin {they were also "Golden Scholars"}. Sammy was a member of chorus this year and they put on a play called "Harmony High" which was set in the 50's! She is super brave! November ...

Monday, November 2, 2009. My sister sent me the link to make the video above and I think it's pretty hilarious. Check it out! Well Brad and I had a lot of fun on Halloween. We have a tradition now of passing out candy AND Hot chocolate for the parents which is pretty fun. (We try to entice more people to come down our street) We absolutely love seeing our cute neighbors bring their kids around all dressed up. I hope you all had a fun Halloween! I'd love to see your pictures. Posted by Arnell Family.

Arnell's: 2nd Anniversary!

http://teamarnell.blogspot.com/2009/05/2nd-anniversary.html

Thursday, May 14, 2009. When Brad and I got married, a lady in our ward told me that in marriage, the first seven years are the hardest. Haha! Hmm, That's not something a newlywed wants to here! This year for our anniversary Brad was the planner. He took me to the Red Iguana for dinner. It was the best! We both love Mexican food, and this is tuly amazing Mexican food. It was delicious. After dinner we went to downtown SLC and Brad surprised me with Salsa Dancing! I was sooo excited! How sweet is he?

Arnell's: Fall 2009

http://teamarnell.blogspot.com/2009/10/fall-2009.html

Wednesday, October 14, 2009. It is beautiful here this time of year and we have really enjoyed the weather so far. We went on our annual car drive to see the leaves. We have done this every year since we were dating and it is one of my favorite traditions so far! We went up to Snow Basin and it was gorgeous there! Hopefully we can hold on to this weather for a while because I'm not sure if I'm ready for snow. Here are some of the pictures Bradley took. Posted by Arnell Family. Baby boys are so fun!
