Nielsen's Nostalgia: Rylan David Nielsen
http://nielsensnostalgia.blogspot.com/2012/04/rylan-david-nielsen.html
April 17, 2012. Rylan is 2 1/2 years old now! He is officially potty trained! Talking so well and in complete sentences. It surprises me sometimes the things he says to me and how clear they come out. Rylan is a huge helper around the house! He's very curious and is always asking questions. The other day he came up to me and told me he was ready for school! Rylan is very smart! He remembers almost everything! I have to be careful what I say and promise him because he. He loves his sister Addilyn! They pl...

Nielsen's Nostalgia: December 2011
http://nielsensnostalgia.blogspot.com/2012/04/december-2011.html
April 9, 2012. November. has it really been that long? Well let's catch up to date! I love the month of December, it's always such a fun month! Between putting up the Christmas tree and adding the ornaments the kids had a little fun. I walked into the room to see this. Addilyn and Rylan discovered they could crawl under the tree. I made sure to clarify that this was the only time it was okay after I put up all of the ornaments. :). Christmas was amazing this year! And even Santa stopped by to visit!

The Ellingsons: January 2013
http://ellingsonstory.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 21, 2013. 2013 - Let's Party! My dad has a favorite quote that has become one of my favorites. When I was in high school and college I used to keep a copy of it hanging in my closet. I feel like it has explained the Ellingson's 2012 year perfectly. Here it is. Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming 'WOW What a Ride! The Merril...

The Ellingsons: August 2013
http://ellingsonstory.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 20, 2013. I'm not afraid of hard work! I learned an important lesson last week, or maybe more like 2 or 3. Sometimes being a mom is HARD. I think I have had my eyes opened to the true love a mother has for her children. It is infinite and when your children are in pain, you too are in pain and would do absolutely anything to make it better. I also learned that when possible, a family is best when there is a mother and father. I am so grateful for the priesthood. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Nielsen's Nostalgia: March 2011
http://nielsensnostalgia.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
March 27, 2011. Rylan- dumped the blocks, pushed the bucket all the way to the kitchen, turned it upside down, climbed on top, opened the drawer, grabbed the hot pad. all on his own. :). Posted by Stacey and Kyle Nielsen. March 18, 2011. Okay I can't believe that I'm actually going to post about this, but Rylan gets soo happy and excited every time I just had to. He'll wait and wait. Rylan waiting for the garbage truck. Until it finally appears! I love his reaction every time! March 16, 2011. This was Ry...

This year McKae had some idea of what was going on, so it was super fun! Here is our little Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz saying "Cheese". December 5, 2013 at 10:14 AM. I cant get enough! Nielsen's Nostalgia: October 2010
http://nielsensnostalgia.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
October 25, 2010. Rylan inside this miniature tunnel made out of hay barrels (a little unsure). Sitting inside a corn pit- like a huge sand box but instead of sand, filled with corn! Addilyn of course slept through the entire thing. Maybe next year! We do have a ton of pictures of all that we did, but this will be a long post already so I kept it short. It was a lot of fun and I think a lot for Rylan to take in. He was asleep before we even got to the interstate (a 3 minute drive). His new favorite these...

Nielsen's Nostalgia: More fun in the month of March!
http://nielsensnostalgia.blogspot.com/2012/04/more-fun-in-month-of-march.html
April 16, 2012. More fun in the month of March! It snowed twice for us in the month of March! The only two times all winter long where there was more then a dusting of snow and it lasted long enough for us to go out and play! Addilyn all bundled up ready to go. I made Addilyn a snowball and handed it to her for her to throw. She decided she'd take a bite of it instead. :). We were able to build our first snowman ever! Rylan loves Buzz and Woody from Toy Story! He was so excited! Embarrassed to ride the e...
