Following a Firefly: Today
http://followingafirefly.blogspot.com/2011/06/today.html
Monday, June 27, 2011. Today was one of those beautiful days where life moved smoothly. The kids were so busy with their own little imaginative worlds. It was such a joy to be a part of their little lives today. Elizabeth at the little table working a little project of her own. She loves to just sit their and do her thing. I love her dangling feet. Following a Firefly: Peace Offering
http://followingafirefly.blogspot.com/2011/07/peace-offering.html
Friday, July 1, 2011. So right now we are just in one of those tough phases when it comes to child rearing. We are having moments and hours where obedience is just not happening. I try so hard to make sure all the odds are stacked in my favor. Have I paid enough attention? Have I loved completely? However, with all my ducks in a row, there are just days when my kids are not going to obey because they are human, just like there are days I am not resist the Holy Spirit for no good reason at all. LIllis and...

A Fine Balance | The Boyer Bunch

February 13, 2009 · Filed under Uncategorized. I shouldn’t be, but I always find myself surprised by how thin the line is for me between doing well and doing horribly. During the last 2-3 weeks, I have progressively gotten worse. No more 2 pill days for me. Finally, I could no longer stand the virtual agony it was just to exist. I went to Dr. Lynch in Charlottesville on Monday and then again on Thursday. I was surprised I needed two visits in four days. However, I was badly off. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Irksome Day | The Boyer Bunch

January 26, 2009 · Filed under Uncategorized. I think today should have been fodder for a country song. So, today I called them and asked if I was broken down on Main Street in Farmville how much would it cost for me to get towed to their business. (This was a most difficult scenario for them to understand because they kept insisting I was broken down! The cost: $35.00! It’s cold. I’m cold. The wood is wet or funky and won’t burn. It was kind of humorous after all. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. You are com...

Truly, I thought I was assertive enough. However, I guess not. As you can probably guess, when I got out from tutoring my car was not there! I called the police. They didn’t have a report of it having been towed. For a short, intense time, I feared it stolen. (Heightened by the fact that before I “moved” to CO, w...I asked “Why? A very likely...

4 Below Zero! | The Boyer Bunch

January 17, 2009 · Filed under Uncategorized. Luckily, I remembered I had some long johns which I found and put on. I bundled up in 3-4 layers and out I went. No delivering the hay via the 4-wheeler today. The wind chill would have been too much. I took the truck. Thankfully, chore time here is easier than in my childhood. I don’t have to haul water!
