It is so exciting to see what color our house will be and know that we won't be looking at that white house wrap forever. :) DJ picked out the color and I was really nervous that it would turn out to be a really ugly color. When I heard that the siding was started, I couldn't wait to see what it actually looked like. I LOVE IT! The start to the island in our kitchen. The start to our siding!

Wednesday, June 17, 2009. On June 12th we celebrated our one month anniversary of picking up our little man! It seems like just yesterday we were seeing him for the first time and getting to know him. He has changed so much in just a month and we are lovin him more and more everyday! Here are some one month stats. Weighs: 7 lbs. 3 oz. Eats: 4-6 oz. every 3 hours. Sleeping: best on mom or dad but slowly making transition to his crib, up about every 4 hours. So, so happy for you! Monday, October 13, 2008. Sitting in the middle of class today, I got an email from Heidi our social worker. She let me know our Home Study is complete and is now being reviewed by our agency New Horizons. Yeah! What a big relief! We are excited to have all the paper work and running around done (or so we thought! Heidi reminds me that we can now start the process of applying for grants/scholarships. So here we go again! Van't Hul Combo Platter. God, guns, family and friends. Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Well it has been one month since my last post so I thought I would give an update (sorry no pictures this time). We hoped that we have been able to move in this past weekend (Feb. 19-21) but unfortunately that didn't happen. Apparently we think we need hot water, a stove, etc. But we are once again hoping to move in this weekend (Feb. 26-28)! We got our kitchen counter top in yesterday and it looks AWESOME! Friday, November 28, 2008. We received our home study in the mail today! And yes it had a stamp on it. Wednesday, November 19, 2008.
