Stay in the loop. We launched our landing page. Last night and I’m very happy with how it turned out. I don’t know how Adam put up with my many iterations of “awesome! But, can you change this now? 8221;, but he did and he did a fantastic job! If you get a chance, swing by and sign up for notification of when we launch the app. If you do, we’ll email you when we launch and give you two free months. Even the tagline is improving. Team event management and communication for coaches and parents.

We’ll just chalk it up as internal motivation for getting teamloop. This entry was posted on Tuesday, November 30th, 2010 at 1:04 am and is filed under Uncategorized. Feed You can leave a response. Stay in the loop. It’s a little ironic. One of the most encouraging aspects we experience while designing and building teamloop. Is the discouragement of others (and ourselves). It happens every time I start sharing the teamloop story. Coaches get frustrated at tracking player availability. For parents, it’s usually when I mention having to pick apart the many emails to find the important details, especially when they are “Reply To All”. Here’s an example I just received a couple of weeks ago.

We build real software. Reading Steve Blank’s. Book, The Four Steps To The Epiphany. Has convinced me of the importance of his advice of “getting out of the building” to validate that at launch we will have customers, sports team coaches, who will take out their wallets when they get to the Plans and Pricing page. Whenever I have had the opportunity to bring up teamloop. I thought it was so appropriate that my first customer validation meeting was at a favorite local hangout, Coach’s Bar and Grill. We ra...

We build real software. Parts Of The Whole. The other day I met with a friend of mine, Bill Johnson, for a couple of beers. Bill is a Sr. Principal at 360 Architecture. Which specializes in sports complex architecture. As we were talking he told me that he still likes to sketch on napkins but the “young guys” in his firm have some pretty cool new software tools available to them using parametrics. I hadn’t heard the term before so here is a description. This all got me thinking about a video. I don’...

We build real software. Welcome to the bitcohesion blog. One of the main things I hope to accomplish with this blog is accountability. As a first post, I’m going to start with just that. Adam and I have neglected the content on bitcohesion’s site for a while. Now that we are on track for releasing teamloop. We need to provide visitors a better idea about the company behind the tool. So, as a first step towards accountability…. Goal: By Saturday, Oct 9, 2010, I will update the site’s content.

We build real software. We ran an ad on Facebook a few weeks ago to get an idea of interest in our app, teamloop. Considering all that we had on the other end of the ad was our marketing page, a launch date and a sign up form for an email notification, I’m happy with the results:. It cost $91.74 to run the ad. Stay in the loop. It Must Be A Sign. Went live today but I didn’t set aside any time to setup teams for my son’s and daughter’s sports teams. So, I bet it’s a sign that we just showed up 6 1/2 hours late to my daughter’s soccer game. It turns out that we wrote the wrong time on our personal calendar when the schedule came out a couple of weeks ago. There has been way too much time between my last post and this one but the result is worth it…we are live! Thanks again Adam and Derek for everything!
