These are some of the "wealthier" ones right outside of Guayaquil proper. They area I am teaching in is dangerous and I am at risk of being robbed if I take out a camera to take pictures. Thursday, May 8, 2008. May 8, 2008. Schmoozing the security guard. If they like you, you can see any part of the hospital you'd like. The hospital feeds us lunch everyday. This is where the families line up to get a prescription for their family members waiting in the hospital. Working with the friendly doctor to make a diagnosis. My secret. shhh! Today was my last day at the Junta hospital. I spent the day in a woman’s sala. Alright, I gave in… I ate at McDonald’s today. Yes, it was good. May 8, 2008.

Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Earth Day has come and gone, but shouldn't Earth Day be "every day? Students have been very busy with Earth Day activities. It started on Thursday 4/21, when the boys and girls were given "Earth Day" braclets made out of white yarn and a green bead. This bracelet is a reminder to keep our Earth clean.
