Saturday, February 2, 2013. We tried this experiment today. It worked and looked cool. We learned a tiny bit about density, but mostly I learned that Rody would rather pretend to be a beaver than learn about density. Oh, my boys would be the same :). But I think that experiment is awesome! I love this experiment! It cracks me up the time we spend doing these things we think are so cool and then the kids share with us what THEY think is so cool (practically ignoring the fun adventure we created for them).

March doesnt come 'til April" said Rody, after I commented on the winter storm that haughtily dropped a foot of beautiful snow on top of the previous layers of snow - something we expect in February, but don't entirely appreciate in March. In Minnesota, March doesn't come until April. But, we did have a fun time shoveling/playing [Pedro shoveled/Lisa and Pedrito played]. In the snow together for almost two hours this morning. Make It and Love It.

Kimber was next to see what he had done! The Leprechaun made one of our pots and one of our pitchers magical and the water turned green when we put it in them. That was one tricky Leprechaun!
