Bobby, Shanna and Carter Kirkpatrick. Monday, July 18, 2011. Carter Goes the the Beach. I probably should have posted this before the 4th of July post but oh well! I am doing good just to get this done! At the beginning of June we went to Galveston for a few days with Bobby's family. He was very quiet in the pool. Not a sound. Not a smile. We had to check under the glasses to make sure he was still alive and he was. Just chillin! Since then though he wont' let us put the glasses on him. So there I was.

I had my 24 week appointment this week and if you aren't good at looking at sonograms he is staring strait at you and that little nub is his hand looking like he is about to punch something, usually me. He is a very active guy! We went to Babies R Us a couple of weeks ago to register. Fun right? Up next, bedding at Pottery Barn. MUCH easier.or so I think. I thought about it a lot as we celebrated Carter's first birthday on October 10th. It's hard to believe we don't have a baby anymore but a toddler! It is when I like to re-evaluate everything going on in my life, re-prioritize and start a fresh (in addition to starting a fresh every morning thanks to Jesus!
