The Hardy Family: October 2012
http://hardyfamilyupdates.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 29, 2012. Sorry Ladies…He’s Mine! After reading, and re-reading, his post, I had a lot of anxiety about writing a post of my own. I've said time and again that I don't know how I'll ever be able to express the overwhelming gratitude I have for all of the kindness that surrounds me and my family, and now I wonder how to even express that gratitude to Nate. I'm afraid I'll never be able to! He's the bravest and most loving man that I know. Thank you Nate, for loving me. Nate is proving that...

The Fifields: Chicago
http://garyandmarcipants.blogspot.com/2012/07/chicago.html
July 27, 2012. We are moving to Chicago for 3 months! The exclamation point attached to the end of that sentence doesn't mean I'm terribly excited, it means that I'm scared beyond all measure. There is a bit of excitement in there as well, but I don't know anything about the city, how to get around, what to do with just Dori and I, and not knowing anyone at all. She is my best friend ever! But I didn't get there on my own. I had the support of SO MANY people. My family, my friends, my neighbors, ...I kno...

August 21, 2012. We had quite the weekend full of major long walks and subway rides! First off let me just say that I don't mind the subway except for the fact that is smells strongly of urine, and there is no airflow to speak of. Ugh. Gary's brother Rick came to visit us this weekend! We did make sure to stop at Sprinkles though and get ourselves the best cupcakes EVER! My favorite is the red velvet. It takes a lot of self control not to walk their everyday. Droooooool! Lots of shopping and food, and th...

The Hardy Family: June 2012
http://hardyfamilyupdates.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 30, 2012. Nate is out of the hospital, again! We both felt much more at ease about leaving the hospital today than we did on Wednesday. As I mentioned in an earlier post, as soon as Nate reached his five goals (and I'm talking within an hour of reaching his fifth goal), he was discharged. It felt a little rushed, but we were glad to get out of there at the same time! We are outta here! Nate's still looking good! Friday, June 29, 2012. Not sure what day in the lineup this is, Day 9? I was o...

February 25, 2012. Oh how I love to ski! Don't I look happy in this picture? I'm so excited to get on the slopes and ski my day away! Fast forward 10 years to my second experience on the slopes. I seriously was so giddy I'm sure I was annoying as heck on the car ride. We made it to the beginner slope so I could get used to skiing again. I did great! I went down a couple times and didn't fall once. My confidence level was phenomenal! So we went to the next hardest slope. By this time, my confidence had.

October 24, 2011. Just the Two of Us - No More! I have never been a fan of maternity pictures. I can understand why people would want them, but it's never been my style. All I have wanted was a nice picture of Gary and I when I'm about to pop, and that's it! I am just 1 day shy of a full 40 weeks, but if this little girl doesn't come on her own then she'll be born on Halloween Day! That's just 1 week away! So no matter how the week goes, we'll be parents before we know it! We already have plans for the t...

The Fifields: January 2012

January 5, 2012. I didn't feel like a mom the day that Dori was born, and I didn't feel like a mom after 1 or 2 or 3 weeks. And 2 months later, I still don't think I know exactly what it means to be a mom. I'm learning though! I love her cuddles and her wiggles, and I love when she stops drinking her bottle half way through to smile at me for no reason! I hate that I have been sick with a nasty cough for the past 5 weeks, but I'm thrilled that it was me and not her! Posted by Marci and Gary.

November 29, 2011. This last month has been quite the rollercoaster ride! She truly is a little angel! She'll only sleep for about 4 hours at a time but since we're only feeding her formula, Gary has really been helping me out in the sleep department! It's a good thing I love her so much! The Fifields: Updates with Pictures
http://garyandmarcipants.blogspot.com/2012/07/updates-with-pictures.html
July 24, 2012. I have found it difficult to find the time to update my blog, so this is going to be the Reader's Digest version of updates. Dori's first time swimming. We went on a cruise to celebrate Gary's graduation. Dori stayed with family for about 9 days. Thanks everyone for helping out! Gary finished the brick path! Jumping on the trampoline with Uncle Dan. My family went to St. George to celebrate my dad's 60th birhtday. Dori learns to crawl. We both knee boarded in Bear Lake. 9 Months Is She!
