Wolgablog: September 2014
http://wolgablog.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Robby and Holly's Wedding. While in Ohio, we attended my cousin Robby's wedding (to the beautiful Holly). The girls haven't attended many weddings and they loved it. We found that weddings with kids can feel long. They aren't into the slower pace of a cocktail hour, waiting to be served, etc. But all of the effort to keep them happy was well worth it when the music started and my kids were the first ones on the dance floor. Monday, September 29, 2014. The other strong memory ...

Wolgablog: November 2014
http://wolgablog.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 25, 2014. Naomi in the snow. Naomi did not spend a lot of time in the snow last year because she HATED getting her snow gear on. We had snow about 2 weeks ago and I took her down to the mailbox on a sled. She still was not a fan of her snow pants but once she was outside, she loved it. She even wanted to get bikes and toys out and go for a ride. Sunday, November 23, 2014. Malia gave Davey a decorate your own piggy bank for her birthday. Here she is painting it with her cute pigtails.

Wolgablog: August 2015
http://wolgablog.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 22, 2015. We have just finished week 1 of living the urban life. Alli and Chris were planning on being out of town the last 2 weeks of August and so they graciously opened up their home to us. We are enjoying the proximity to so many downtown attractions. Yesterday we went to the zoo with friends and the drive was 10 minutes instead of our usual 45. Thursday, August 13, 2015. Here they are enjoying their ice cream. Wednesday, August 12, 2015. I am generally an overly sentimental person&#...

Wolgablog: October 2014
http://wolgablog.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 27, 2014. Garden of the Gods. Last week we were visited by (most of) the Spiegel family. Their kids are all older than ours, but they played so well with our girls, which blessed us so much. We all drove down to Garden of the Gods for a hike during our time together. Friday, October 24, 2014. Fall hike and reservior fun. We are having beautiful fall weather here. Last week we went on another hike around the nearby state park with some friends. Thursday, October 23, 2014. We spent time ope...

Wolgablog: Davey Lou
http://wolgablog.blogspot.com/2015/07/davey-lou.html
Saturday, July 18, 2015. While in Steamboat, Malia wanted nothing to do with me. She was too busy with her aunts and cousins and grandparents to talk to me :). I did however get some sweet moments here and there with Davey. On one hike, we turned back early, which was super fun because she was super chatty. And another night she let me snap this picture of her sweet, sun-kissed face. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Subscribe in a reader. Email Subscriptions powered by FeedBlitz. Jim and Amy Spiegel.

Wolgablog: Old House
http://wolgablog.blogspot.com/2015/08/old-house.html
Wednesday, August 12, 2015. I am generally an overly sentimental person. I am very attached to things and places. So I was surprised that I was not very sad to leave our house (despite it being so full of sweet memories). I think the stress of our final weeks there made it so. I was just relieved that we got all of our stuff out of there on time. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Subscribe in a reader. Email Subscriptions powered by FeedBlitz. Jim and Amy Spiegel.

Wolgablog: April 2015
http://wolgablog.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 29, 2015. The transition to 4 kids has been both easy and hard. We are 3 weeks in now and I feel like things are settling into a new normal. Today warm weather returned and it was lovely. In the afternoon, while Davey was at her preschool, Malia and Naomi enjoyed water beads outside. (You can get them at the dollar store and I highly recommend them for a sensory, fun activity.) It was so good for my heart to get a glimpse of normal again through this simple activity. On Easter, 3.5 y...

Wolgablog: Tooth Fairy Visit?
http://wolgablog.blogspot.com/2015/07/tooth-fairy-visit.html
Thursday, July 23, 2015. Davey is 5.5 and hasn't lost a tooth. Sometimes this bugs her because she feels like she is the only one who hasn't. This is hard to see but Malia definitely tried to disguise her handwriting. This leaves us wondering if she is on to us. Some of the new paper dolls. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
