Messy Kitchen, Happy Kids: September 2012
http://messykitchensandhappykids.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 18, 2012. Relish the Charms of the Present. Holy heck, that happened fast! There are approximately 10,463 thoughts, ideas, insights, lessons learned, etc. that I could share with you from my summer, BUT that would be boring, even if I thought they were all life changers (and they're not). Instead I leave you with just one sweet picture that kind of sums up how I feel as I bid the summer of 2012 adieu. I found this awesome photo on this blog:. Doesn't that just say it all?

I was starting to get a little frustrated with the whole things so I decided it was time to come up with better system. So this is what I did. I bought a blank canvas, painted it (excuse the quality of the artwork, I'm not exactly an artist! Screwed hooks into the wood at the top, added a ribbon to hang it with and Voila, a necklace rack. :).

Messy Kitchen, Happy Kids: Proverbs 31
http://messykitchensandhappykids.blogspot.com/p/character.html
I love this chapter in Proverbs that talks about being a godly wife and woman. I'll admit, it's a little overwhelming to think about achieving what is described, because this woman, if she does indeed exist, is most definitely superwoman. But this does give me something to strive for and that is a good thing. A Wife of Noble Character. Who can find a virtuous and capable wife? She is more precious than rubies. Her husband can trust her,. And she will greatly enrich his life. She brings him good, not harm,.

Let's face it, being a woman, a wife, a mommy. is hard! When my husband and I first got married we were part of a small group with several other newly married couples. Talking to other couples about what they were experiencing in their marriage really helped normalize things for us. We weren't the only ones struggling with. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
